Leading Safe
Upon completion of the Leading SAFe course, You have the opportunity to take an exam to earn the SAFe Agilist (SA) certification. This certification validates their knowledge and ability to lead and facilitate SAFe transformations.
"Leading SAFe" refers to the training and certification program offered by Scaled Agile, Inc. It focuses on providing knowledge and skills to leaders and change agents who aim to implement and lead a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) transformation within their organization.
The Leading SAFe course is designed to help leaders understand the principles, practices, and roles involved in implementing and scaling agile practices at the enterprise level. Here are the key aspects of Leading SAFe:
1. SAFe Principles: The course covers the underlying principles of SAFe, including Lean-Agile leadership, systems thinking, and the importance of aligning around value. Participants learn how to apply these principles to lead and support agile transformations in their organization.
2. Introduction to SAFe: The course provides an overview of the SAFe framework, including its structure, key components, and key roles and responsibilities. Participants gain an understanding of how the different levels of SAFe, such as portfolio, large solution, and Agile Release Trains (ARTs), work together to achieve organizational agility.
3. Agile Release Train (ART) Execution: Participants learn how to lead and facilitate the Agile Release Train, which is the primary value delivery mechanism in SAFe. They understand the roles and responsibilities of various ART members, as well as how to coordinate and align teams to deliver value in a scaled agile environment.
4. Building High-Performing Teams: The course focuses on the importance of building and fostering high-performing teams in SAFe. Participants learn strategies for fostering collaboration, self-organization, and continuous improvement within their teams.
5. Implementing SAFe: The course covers the steps and strategies for implementing SAFe in an organization. Participants learn about the SAFe implementation roadmap, including the necessary mindset shifts, training, and organizational change management required for a successful transformation.
6. Leading Change: Leading SAFe also addresses the leadership and change management aspects of implementing SAFe. Participants learn how to create a Lean-Agile mindset, manage resistance to change, and lead and inspire their teams through the transformation journey.
